Guershon Harel is a professor of mathematics at University of California, San Diego.
MSU's Kellogg Biological Station in Battle Creek, MI, will host a discussion and field tour on biochar use in field crops on Monday, July 17th.
The agricultural practice of adding biochar to crops is one with great potential in reducing carbon emissions and sustainable farming in general.
