Health in Our Hands 'Health Summit', Friday, Jan. 19, 2024

It's time for a Health Summit, hosted by Health in Our Hands research team!

Friday, January 19, from 10am - 1:30pm, Flint students who have studied the 'Why Does Looking for Thrills Make Me Miserable' curriculum, will present their findings to peers, judges, and community members. Substance Abuse Disorder (SUD) is the focus of the curriculum and leads the students to think about the question "How can we work together to make our community healthier?"

Nobel Prize in Chemistry recipient Dr. David MacMillan presents, December 14, 2023

David MacMillan, a co-recipient (with Benjamin List) of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2021, will be giving a public presentation of his pioneering work and its impact on society at the Kellogg Center Auditorium, from 8:00 - 9:00 pm. on Thursday, December 14, 2023. His talk is titled "What's It Like to Win a Nobel Prize? The Path and Discovery Via Science, Catalysis and Good Luck".

Dr. Josh Plavnic will be talking about going "Down the Rabbit Hole: Practical Application of Generative AI in University Courses" on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at noon in Room 133F Erickson Hall.
