NSTA's STEM20: Virtual Event will feature an engaging array of sessions, panels, and presentations focused on the latest developments and insights on the most important topics and issues affecting the STEM education community today.

Astronaut Mike Massimino will kick off each day with a message of support and encouragement for attendees. The event will also have a virtual exhibit hall, several networking opportunities, and special events, including the Elementary STEM Showcase and the Robot Roundup.

Physicist Anthony Zee gives a tour of Einstein's general theory of relativity and looks at future mysteries such as quantum gravity, dark matter and energy.

Three-dimensional teaching and learning present new opportunities to build assessments that move student learning forward. The challenge we face is how do we get there from our current system of assessment. In this workshop, participants will begin by learning how to leverage student artifacts as part of a formative assessment cycle using a student work analysis protocol. Participants will also gain experience using science assessment tasks screening tools.

The MSU Center for Survivors is hosting a supportive space for all Black, Indigenous, and People of Color who are MSU students, staff, and faculty. It is intended to be a space for people to share the impacts of their direct and collective experiences. This will be held for the next three Tuesdays from 1:00-2:30. If you are interested, please fill out the registration form below and review the attached flyer. A Zoom link and password will be sent to you after the registration form has been received. Please know that you are welcome to attend any number of the sessions offered.
