Nobel Prize in Chemistry recipient Dr. David MacMillan presents, December 14, 2023
David MacMillan, a co-recipient (with Benjamin List) of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2021, will be giving a public presentation of his pioneering work and its impact on society at the Kellogg Center Auditorium, from 8:00 - 9:00 pm. on Thursday, December 14, 2023. His talk is titled "What's It Like to Win a Nobel Prize? The Path and Discovery Via Science, Catalysis and Good Luck".
MacMillan is the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of Chemistry at Princeton University and will be sharing this public lecture while visiting Michigan State University. He is also presenting a scientific seminar on Dec. 15 in the Department of Chemistry and will be speaking at a commencement ceremony on Dec. 16.
Dr. MacMillan has a long and distinguished career and is currently and is currently the James S. McDonnell Distinguished University Professor of Chemistry at Princeton University.
