CREATE is pleased to announce that the website for the 'movement' and the symposium on Thursday, November 30, 2023, is live! Join fellow educators, administrators, and researchers for the day as we explore a vision for bringing more science learning time to our youngest learners.
The teaching of science goes hand-in-hand with literacy; the teaching of one should not be an isolated event from the other. We want to start a movement that:
* ensures science instruction is a common component of elementary education for all students
* encourages science-specific professional learning for administrators, principals, and instructional leaders
* seeks out opportunities to integrate literacy and science for Michigan students
